Use of Sorrisos Latinos, assumes acceptance of this privacy agreement. The team of Sorrisos Latinos, reserves the right to change this agreement without notice. Therefore, we recommend that you consult our privacy policy regularly so that you are always up to date.

We use cookies to store information such as your personal preferences when you visit our website. This may include a simple popup, or a link in various services we provide, such as forums.

Terms and Conditions

Organization

The organization of the services and Tours and Experiences in Portugal, contained in this site is made by Sorrisos Latinos, Portugal Experiencies, based in R. Dr. Alberto Araújo, nº5, 2815-811 Sobreda, Almada, with RNAAT Registration No. 1585.

Contracted services

Prices valid until 31/12/2022.

All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.

The tolls are included, except in the services available where they are the responsibility of the client.

Personal accident insurance and civil responsibility required by law are included.

Rates do not include additional costs that have not been previously agreed upon.

Sorrisos Latinos is not responsible for personal objects or belongings left inside the vehicles.

Sorrisos Latinos is not responsible for excess baggage or baggage whose dimensions, due to lack of prior notice, make it impossible to transport it in the reserved vehicle.

All services are subject to availability

Clients have free time to visit the sites and monuments.

SMOKING / ALCOHOL: Smoking or alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the vehicles. Frequent stops for rides and meals are made in order to provide customers with the opportunity to smoke and drink (moderately) while outside the vehicles.

Sorrisos Latinos strives to transport the passenger, in comfort and to their destination. However, circumstances beyond our control may prevent us from fulfilling this responsibility.

The following are examples of circumstances that are not within our control:

Exceptional or severe weather conditions/Road fatalities and accidents Vandalism and terrorism Unforeseen traffic delays/Strikes by third parties

National monuments are closed on holidays;

Tours do not include meals not mentioned, guided tours inside the monuments (except those described in the brochure / website), costs or tips of any kind;

Claims and Refunds

Local guides, meals, some transportation providers (e.g. buses, trains or boats) and other necessary services are contracted from third parties and are not employees of Sorrisos Latinos. Thus, in providing these services, Sorrisos Latinos acts only as a sales agent and is not responsible for any claims against these entities that result from actions on its behalf.

Only claims and refund requests that have been submitted in writing by the claimant to Sorrisos Latinos within 5 days of completing the service will be considered. All disputes will be resolved in the District Court of Lisbon, to the express exclusion of any other.

Reservation and Payment Policy

The consultation of availability or reservations must be made directly on the Sorrisos Latinos website, by e-mail: info@sorrisoslatinos.com or telephone.

Direct reservations made by phone or e-mail / site will be registered.

Deposit Payment: 20% of the total value of the tour to be settled at the time of booking by Bank Transfer

Final payment: Payable up to 30 days before the day of the tour and can be done by Bank Transfer

* With regard to accommodation and, depending on the location, in some cases and, when non-refundable hotels are booked, we will ask you to pay the full amount of the reservation.

Only be considered and guaranteed after proof of deposit of 100% of the total value.

The payment can be made by bank transfer, the bank information will be sent by e-mail, after receipt of the reservation request.

Service reservations will only be considered confirmed after receipt of proof of payment of the amount of the Service.

Until confirmation of payment by our bank, the pre-booking will be suspended up to 3 days before the date of the event, period after which, Sorrisos Latinos reserves the right to consider the reservation cancelled.

Our cancellation policy will apply.

Upon receipt of proof of payment, the reservation will only be guaranteed when Sorrisos Latinos CONFIRMS the request, according to its availability. If there is no availability for the desired tour and the client refuses all alternatives presented, then Sorrisos Latinos is committed to refunding in full the amount of the reservation.

Any withdrawal less than 24 hours or no-show on the day of the tour, does not allow for any refund.

We will only make the reservation with the suppliers after receiving the payment confirmation from our bank.

Reservation Changes Policy

Changes to reservations after the first payment are subject to :

Alteration of the values initially proposed

If the new values resulting from the change are different from the values initially proposed, the respective adjustments will be made.

Sorrisos Latinos reserves the right (and delegates to its drivers) to refuse to transport any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behavior is considered a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passengers.

If a tour is booked by an over-the-counter operator, and Sorrisos Latinos cannot run it for some reason (unavailability of vehicles / seats or single person), it will always present an alternative. In case the client does not want or is not able to do a tour on another date or another tour, the client will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations will only be considered valid after 100% of the total value of the service has been received, unless otherwise stated in writing

Once the reservation is made, the following cancellation charges will apply in case of cancellation of the reservation or accommodation :

Before 30 days of the agreed date: 100% refund and no penalty is applied. The exceptions are entrance tickets to monuments, third party activities, hotel reservations and possible transaction fees. They will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the policy of each supplier;

30 to 15 days before the agreed date : 50% of the total amount Paid – 50% of the total amount Paid will be refunded

15 to 1 day before the agreed date: 100% of the Total Paid Amount – No Money Back

No Show on the Day of Service: 100% of the Total Amount Paid – No Money Back

All cancellation charges are subject to additional charges incurred by Sorrisos Latinos with transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, contracted services or other non-refundable charges related to the reservation made by the Client.
