We will visit the unique Bone Chapel! In baroque style, the Chapel was built in the 17th century by three Franciscan friars whose aim was to convey the message of the transitority and fragile nature of human life. This message is clearly passed on to the visitors at the entrance, through the warning: “We bones who lie here, yours await”.
Travelling to Monsaraz, you can enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Alentejo, with its unending fields of wheat and sunflowers.
