What To Expect
Departure from Lisbon towards Setúbal via the 25th of Abril Bridge, from where you can see the statue of Cristo Rei and enjoy the view over the city of Lisbon.
In Setúbal we will visit the Livramento Market where you can enjoy and taste everything that is best produced in the region … From fruit, vegetables and herbs to fish just out of the sea … A real aromatic explosion, colorful and tasty.
We will go up to Fort S. Filipe, Fortress of the XIVth Century with breathtaking views of the city of Setúbal and Troia. We will cross the Serra de Arrábida, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean flora. With luck you will see wild orchids, unique in Europe and enjoy fantastic views of the mountain and the sea. We will visit Cape Espichel, a promontory where you will enjoy the view over the Atlantic Ocean and a XIVth Century Monastery.
Our last stop will be at Adega Lima Fortuna, producers of unique liquors, where you will enjoy a cheese tasting and local sweets, and will be able to buy delicious souvenirs.
Then it’s back to Lisbon!
